James Damey has been a Worship Pastor for the last 27 years. While creating and leading worship teams in multiple churches he has learned the value of living a lifestyle of worship. He has recently found a passion in teaching and mentoring others to lead worship ministries. So becoming NLWI’s US Ministries Director has been an ideal and timely shift to pass the things he has learned to others.

While working as Worship Pastor at Cheyenne Hills Church in Cheyenne Wyoming the last 14 years, he has been able to develop process, create team vision, become licensed and ordained, and grow leadership teams that were influential to create a healthy and successful worship environment.

He and his wife April have been married for over twenty years and have three kids Elijah, Noah, and Selah Damey.

James will come help support your team, leading them through various trainings in a small setting. These trainings can include: The heart of a worshipper, roles in a Worship Band, Preparing for success, Vocal Workshop, Developing a volunteer leadership team, or A worship Lifestyle.

This is usually done as a Two day event with training on Saturday, and James leading with your team at your Sunday morning service/s.

Having a fresh eye can really help to pin point certain areas that can be tweaked or changed in order to get the full impact in your services. James will bring insights, options, and creative thinking to your team to find what may help to communicate a lasting message to your congregation.

James will meet with your leadership prior to the arrival date, and get your vision for the desired visit. He will attend your services and conclude with a follow up debrief of what was seen and offer options to your team or staff following the visit.

This is a one-day event on sight during a normally scheduled service. One night stay will be necessary for travel accommodations.
